The deal, in plain terms.

It's beta. Back up your project first.

Vibestrate is early software, still on 0.x, and it edits real files in real repositories. We test it hard - the suite runs on every change, runs happen inside a throwaway git worktree, and nothing pushes or merges on its own - and the whole thing is open source, so you can read exactly what it does before you trust it. None of that is a guarantee. Early software has bugs we haven't found yet, and some of them could cost you work.

So: back up your project, or make sure it is committed and pushed, before you run Vibestrate on it. Try it somewhere you can afford to lose first, and scale up as your own confidence does. We can't promise it will never lose or damage something, and if it does, that is on you rather than on us.

Nobody is making you use this.

Vibestrate is free and entirely optional. You are not required or obliged to use it, you owe us nothing for it, and you can stop and delete it whenever you like. By installing or using the site, the hub, or the software, you accept these terms - if any of it doesn't suit you, the answer is simply not to use it. Whether it is the right tool for your work, your code, and your risk tolerance is your assessment to make, and the consequences of running it are yours to carry.

You're driving an AI. You decide what ships.

Vibestrate runs the AI coding tools you install; it doesn't write code itself. AI output can be wrong, insecure, or completely made up. The review and supervision features lower that risk but don't remove it. You own your code and output, and you're the one who decides what to keep, merge, or deploy. Nothing it produces is professional, legal, financial, or security advice.

Your models, your keys, your bill.

You bring and authenticate your own model providers - cloud ones like Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, or local models you run yourself. Their costs, terms, and rate limits are between you and them. Automated runs, retries, and parallel reviews can burn more tokens than you expect, so set your own budgets and limits. We don't bill you and can't cap or refund provider charges.

Metrics are estimates.

Token counts, costs, and durations Vibestrate shows are rough figures computed on your machine for convenience. Your provider's own dashboard is the real bill. Don't rely on ours for budgeting, billing, or anything that matters.

The flow hub.

The hub lets people publish and download "flows" (run recipes). Community flows are made by their authors, not us - we don't vet them, so inspect what they do before you run them. If you publish, you're responsible for what you share and you must have the right to share it; don't publish anything unlawful, infringing, or malicious.

To report content that infringes your rights or doesn't belong, email [email protected] with enough detail to find it, and we'll review and may remove it.

Don't misuse it.

Don't use the site, hub, or software to break the law or others' rights, to build or spread malware, to attack or overload any system, or to misrepresent what content you publish to the hub.

Things we don't run.

Almost none of the machinery here is ours. This site and the hub sit on Cloudflare. The software is installed through npm or another registry. Our home page reads a star count from GitHub. Every model you run belongs to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or whoever else you pointed us at, and every community flow was written by somebody who is not us. Each of them has its own terms, its own privacy policy, and its own bad days.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for what any of them do or fail to do - outages, slowness, data loss, a change to their service or pricing, a security incident on their side, a suspended or terminated account, how they handle information you send them directly, or anything you reach by following a link from us. We don't control them, we can't audit them, and we don't promise the site, the hub, or any of it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change or retire any of it, including the hub, at any time.

One thing we do not try to sign away: where a supplier handles personal data on our instructions, data protection law keeps us accountable for that, and nothing here is meant to disclaim it. See our Privacy page for who touches what.

No liability.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, hub, or software - including lost or broken code, security issues, provider charges or token use, reliance on our metrics, merges or deployments, anything community flows do, or anything done by the third parties above. This covers direct, indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages, and lost profits or data, whether or not we were told they were possible. Where the law doesn't allow a limit this broad (for example, some non-waivable consumer rights), it applies as far as it does.

Changes.

We may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue the hosted services at any time. Since there are no accounts, the only notice is this page and the project's GitHub; continued use of the site and hosted services after a change means you accept it. Software you've already installed stays governed by its Apache 2.0 license, not by later changes here.

The basics.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. The Apache 2.0 license covers the software's source code, not the "Vibestrate" name or logo. Questions are best raised in a GitHub Discussion; where a direct legal contact is required, reach us at [email protected].
